About

Rebecca Charlotte is a New Jersey-based author. She is a middle-school French teacher and lifelong storyteller who writes books for young readers with heart and curiosity.

She published her first illustrated book in sixth grade—When Mom Gets Sick—a story that sparked a global pen-pal circle for kids coping with a parent’s illness.

Writing under the name Rebecca Charlotte in honor of her great-aunt who worked in children’s publishing, she continues to create stories inspired by language, imagination, and the resilience of young people.

When she’s not teaching or writing, she’s learning to play the drums or adventuring with her husband and two daughters in New Jersey.
